Sweet Deal
Ask yourself, what would happen to you if you went on a rampage that resulted in the deaths of 24 innocent people, including ten women and children and a man in a wheel chair? If you are a U.S. Marine in Iraq, the answer is, you get off with a slap on the wrist and an apology to the victims' families.

That doesn't seem like justice to me.
What I found particularly egregious in the article is that the defense attorney attributed the incident to the "fog of war", but the Marines admitted they came under no fire from the villagers and did not identify their targets -- often firing blindly into darkened rooms.
